Hello and welcome to my blog. I’ll be sharing some of my favourite photographs and images that I’ve used different editing and image manipulation techniques to create.

Living in Orkney with my wife Karina and two beautiful daughters gives me a great source of inspiration and the occasional model too as you’ll see throughout the blog.

I am a graphic designer and the Pre-press Supervisor for Orkney Media Group working with a team on publications such as The Orcadian Newspaper, Living Orkney and The Islander Magazine. I am lucky to work in an industry that I enjoy and spend some of my free time doing similar work as a hobby. This is the reason for the blog, an outlet to showcase the work I do for no reason other than for my own entertainment.

I have a particular interest in older photos and one of my favourite pastimes is restoring and colourising old photographs. This really brings them back to life and restores lost depth to the image.
